Bed & Breakfast-Miami, AZ

I knew that there would be activity at the Bed and Breakfast from the minute I was invited to investigate the place. Before we arrived in Miami, I also knew that there would be something significant about the name “Jack” and asked Grace to remind me of that name so I could ask the owner about it when we arrived.
When we did arrive, we were told that the Bed & Breakfast used to be a boarding house and shopped with a private speak easy in the basement during prohibition for locals to come and play cards. There is a shrine of sorts outside in a courtyard where another building once stood and a pathway to steps that lead upstairs to a back entrance on the second floor. I felt a strong male presence there. I felt as though one man walked around protecting the place, as well as a lot of activity on and around those steps. The feeling was actually very intense there. I was told that is where the miners would enter. Up the steps outside they would go to the sauna. There they would bathe before entering the rooms they boarded.
When we were asking questions during the initial interview, we were told about the miners and also told about a man named “Jack”. The wow was there for me but unfortunately the name was told to us rather than me remembering to ask about it. I was still very excited about the validation.
When we started to go upstairs we were told about the owner’s mother who had her own suite of rooms on the second floor. Grace asked what was significant about the letter “E” in a name. She was getting a female presence with a strong “E”. The mother’s name was “Elizabeth”.
There was a lot of activity upstairs. There were four investigators total this trip. One named David. Three of us were outside and he came out to say that a cabinet door had opened right next to him and wanted to me to come in and see what I felt. This was where the guest book registry was kept. This cabinet was located in front of a room where former guests said the saw or heard things while staying there.
I had been in one room taking pictures and felt a lot of activity. I decided to revisit the room a bit later and see if I could get a name. Instead, I walked in and the radio was playing. No one had been in there to turn in on. That was pretty exciting. This was “Elizabeth’s” bedroom. I don’t think Grace ever stopped feeling her from the time she arrived until we left. There was another incident with Sabrina and I. We were taking pictures in one of the rooms and when we flashed at the same time, we both saw what looked like a man standing in front of us. Unfortunately, we didn’t capture anything with our cameras. We were really startled so I was disappointed that nothing manifested in our pictures.
There is an apartment just behind the former boarding house that was rented. There is definitely a presence of a male there. I could not get concrete validation of a name though. But I did feel as though there were eyes on me the whole time as if I was intruding. Ironically, I loved it. I have no problem sharing space.
I didn’t get anything of significance with my pictures even though I took more than anyone else. Sometimes it’s just happens like that. There was however a tremendous amount of activity. Wanting to get impressions of one or two energies, I actually felt as if there were dozens of people roaming around.
I am sorry that this place is no longer a functioning B & B. It would be a great place to stay. Not only for investigators but everyone.
