Globe High School

Investigation:
We were asked to investigate the Globe High School. Our friend Shawndell and her mom set it up for us. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. As we waited for the other's to arrive we got a brief history about the school and its activity.
The first persons to graduate there were all women and that was in 1910. But the actual construction did not start until 1914. By August 30, 1915 was the first day of school. It held the grades from 7 thru 12. Additional buildings were added in the 1920 and the gymnasium was added in 1949. Then in 1964 the music room, the shop, and the science wing were added.
This building has actually been around for over 90 years. As we entered the building we were all drawn to the pictures that were hanging there. There was a series of graduating class photos from 1910 to present day. As we took a tour we felt a lot of activity in the Auditorium.
We decided to set up our cameras in the gymnasium, the auditorium, and the dark room. The dark room itself is said to be haunted by a former student/photographer. People have talk of being touched, hearing voices, as well as seeing objects and equipment move. On the 2nd floor hallway, witnesses have seen a little boy running down the hallway. Also it has been said that two children have been heard laughing and crying, and with doors opening and closing.
The floorboards have also been said to creak and make noise randomly. They have also heard a ball bouncing down the hallway. In the girls bathroom on the 1st floor some have felt like they are being watched, sometimes feeling uneasy as if they are not alone. In the boys locker room witnessed accounts included; water running by itself, voices heard, locker doors moving independently and a very "heavy" feeling.
In the auditorium the lights go off and on by themselves. It has also been reported that footsteps have been heard on the stage yet there was no one present at the time. People have seen or heard someone on the stage as if they are performing again.
Room 202 They have felt the presence of a old man there. Papers have fallen of the table, and voices can be heard. In the Gymnasium they said a young man walks the floor and footsteps can be heard. The top floor is also said to be haunted. Light can be seen turned on while viewing it from the street.
Findings:
As our camcorders recorded, we immediately started to get orbs in our cameras. We also witness the spirit of a man walking down the hallway. Lights that were turned on that were supposed to be off. In the Auditorium I got a voice on one of my audio recorders that said "HELP". John said that there was a presence of a man in the balcony.
I told him it was a young man who was wearing blue. We photographed a lot of orbs on the balcony. We could feel the presence of not being alone in there. The library was also a place that we took a lot of picture's of. In one picture I took there is a shadow of someone sitting in a chair. And in our picture's there is a lot of energy shots that are present. As we proceeded to go to the gymnasium to set a camcorder there. I could not get any one of the camcorders to work.
They were all out of focus. I guess spirit did not want me to set one up there. And I would find out later why. So we decided to put it in the boys locker room. John felt that there was a lot of energy in there and something happened there that was a unpleasant occurrence. As we left the camcorder in there for 1 ½ hours. I sent Sabrina and 2 more people back to the gym to get the camcorder.
She has informed us that the light were on and the doors to the boys locker room were closed. When we left the gym the first time the light were on. And the doors were open. Upon hearing my evp later I found out that the coach of the Globe High School was in there for at least 45 minutes after we had left our equipment running. No one had informed him that we had scheduled an investigation that night.
As a result, we dismissed all of the activity in the gym. We did set up a camcorder later in the gym and this time it did work. In the girls locker room John said he could hear voices in there. So I set up a recorder in there. You could hear someone whispering but we could not make out what exactly was being said.
By the admistration area I set up another recorder. I heard the presence of a young child crying profusely. Also in the administration area on the first floor just next to the girls bathroom, John felt the presence of a man in there. We went in there to take pictures.
You could feel you we were not alone. He did not want us in there. There was a heavy feeling that made the other's not want to go in there. Also in the computer room there was a presence of a older woman that guarded the door way as a way of saying to us do not come in room. You are not welcome. As we took a break outside I saw a light go on in the top floor. But upon investigating up there no lights were on.
We took several pictures from the balcony and got a lot of activity there. In one of the pictures taken in the gymnasium I captured a spirit walking across the gym floor. Everything around the picture has a reflection except the spirit itself.
Conclusion:
We had a great time there. It was a very good experience for us all.And as well for our guest who encountered a little bit of paranormal activity. I would have to say that the activity that we encountered there is still present to this day.
They do not wish to leave a place that they felt they had a lot of memory there. This old building has a lot of history to it. It is a beautiful place to see and has a historic value to it. I would like to thank the Globe High School Admistration and all those who were kind enough to let us come and do our investigation there.
John's Report:
There was a lot going on in this building. The auditorium was very active, as well as the library entrance and the boys locker room. There was a notable classroom with activity of a man, who I thought was a teacher.
He was balding and dressed in a shirt, slacks and tie as if her were there to teach. Also, the photo lab in the basement was pretty thick with energy. We thought we were on to something intense with the gymnasium when things were moved around and lights had been turned on or off, without us being there.
It turns out that it was one of the coaches. We never saw him, but we did hear him on audio tapes. We were disappointed but the truth is the truth.
