Stull Kansas

On one of my adventures ghost hunting journey's. I was asked to come and investigate a place known as Stull. Which is located in Kansas. It is known as the one of the 7 Gates of Hell.
So I asked John to come along with me. And at the time I did not know it would be a new beginning for me and a lasting friendship with a new partner and gifted medium.
I was in contact with a researcher from Lawrence, Kansas. So I set up various phone calls to inquire about the paranormal activity that was going on at the cemetery. We decided to make plans for Halloween night since the legend say's that the devil will appear on that particular day. We took a plane ride to our destination and then took a shuttle to where our car would be waiting.
We were asked a lot of questions about Stull. They had heard the legends about what goes on at the cemetery. They also wanted us to let them know what our findings would reveal. On our way there I got that our host would be wearing glasses and be of thin built.
When we arrived in Lawrence John immediately got that a battle of some kind was fought there in the town. When we met our guide he had validated my findings. He was of thin built and did indeed wear glasses. Upon talking to him we found out that he is and will be a upcoming film maker.
Investigation:
Our guide told us a brief history of the cemetery and what made him drawn to that particular place. It seems that the legend goes that if you throw a bottle on the walls surrounding the cemetery it will not break it will bounce off. Strange noises have also been heard. Our guide knew ever thing that was ever written about it and what people had told him. A short ride out of town took us to our destination.
Upon seeing it for ourselves it seemed like any other old cemetery. The old church that once stood there was now gone. Legend has it that the church burned down and had trapped parishioners inside. People attempting to help the one's that were trapped had seen the Devil in the flames. They also say that in the back of the church there is a door on the ground that is buried by bushes and dirt that leads to the Gate's of Hell. And only opens up on Halloween only at midnight.
But the energy passing by the cemetery was still there. As we kept on going we were taken to another site that John had felt that there was a battle of some kind fought there. And our guide did indeed validate it for us. There was one more stop we went to that as you drove by you could feel as if they were waiting on the side of the rode knowing that we were on our way.
A brief stop at this place we started to get letter's and what they would of worn in those days. There were also symbols and items left there by witch's who were conducting some sort of rituals. I cannot reveal this place due to the request of our guide. And the work that he is doing there. Upon leaving this place we would return again later at night. We would later be taken to explore down town Kansas. So with camera in tow off we went.
We were taken to a old hotel called the Elderidge. Our guide asked if we could come in and take picture's and especially the one room that people had felt the most activity. Upon entering the room you could feel a strong presence of a entity that did not want us there. It felt like a man. I told John there was someone sitting next to him . A older gentleman in a dark suit and was of stocky built. I laid down my recorder on the bed to see if the spirit who was there would come and communicate with me.
Then we started to take a few picture's to help us validate our experience. As the night grew darker we went back to the place that our investigation had brought us to. Only to find out that it was heavily patrolled by the police. It seems that on each Halloween they have the younger generation try to get into the cemetery to party and have a good time.
We took a few picture's and left to our other destination which proved to us that It too had a bit of history, and paranormal activity going on. I felt the presence of a older woman, 3 small children and a man that did not like us being there. John did not pick up to much activity there. Maybe because we were tired from the ride and it was very late.Alot of strange noises we did hear. Like someone screaming and whispering.
Findings:
Of all the picture's we took we got a lot of orbs. And at the Eldridge Hotel I got a voice that says "LEAVE" We did not capture any apparitions only orbs.It was a very interesting trip. I felt that it was a place that we should go and investigate. We got a brief history, met some interesting people,got to see for ourselves why this place is so feared by other's. I would like to Thank Matt our new friend. The Eldridge Hotel for allowing us to take picture's. Stull, Kansas is a mysterious place to visit. You will not find anyone there willing to talk about the activity that goes on there. They are very private people that don't like you in their neighborhood. And as for the authorities I won't comment on that.If you decide to visit be respectful to the town and to the dead and don't throw any bottles against the wall. And if you happen to find one pick it up and throw it in the trash. And never go alone there is always's safety in pair's and some one else to validate your story.
