Tucson Private Residence

Our hosts told us when we arrived that the activity they had experienced was physical including touching and even scratching. There had also been sightings of what they described as shadows or a black mist primarily in the den and the master bedroom.
When I entered the den, I could feel the presence of a man in the far corner of the room. I also felt as if this spirit moved from the den, through a door that led to the front patio. I felt as though he was connected to one of more of the family members. He appeared to me to be more of a protector. As if he was keeping a watchful eye as to who came and went.
I tried to get a confirmation of who this person was, but was not able to get concrete validation from him or the family members present as to what his name might be or his relation. The second energy that I came into contact with was an elderly woman. I kept getting words in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish, so I did my best to convey what I was getting to our hosts.
She was not immediately identified and I became frustrated with the information I was receiving. I felt as though she was not connected to the house itself or the property, but that she did have a message to convey. I took a few minutes without distraction by anyone to really give my attention to this particular energy. While I was alone, one of the guests who had been invited to attend came outside and joined me.
We discussed the information I was getting and the spirit was identified as this lady’s grandmother. I was told by this spirit to tell this female that “there were things that they had in common and that she knew her as no one else did”. It turns out that the “grandmother” had raised her. It was a very emotional moment for my new friend and I could tell that there was a sense of peace about her when she received this message.
There was a lot that this female was processing and she said that she was missing her grandmother and that she had just been thinking about her recently as she was trying to deal with personal issues that we did not discuss.
I never got the impression that there was any negative activity in the house the entire time I was there. As a matter of fact, it was just the opposite. I cannot explain what the residents we witnessing physically. I can only assume that the touching and/or scratching was not connected with the spirit of man I had encountered. He appeared to be very benign, non malicious.
The were a number of religious artifacts placed about the house itself. Before entering the residence, I felt that there was a lot of religious energy. When I saw the things in the house, I felt as though there had been a lot of this same type of energy from the previous owners.
When I stated this, the current owner told me that in fact the previous owner was a very spiritual person and she was happy to have him as a friend. She said that his energy was very positive indeed and that I was absolutely right about my feelings.
There was also a presence of native American energy. But, I always get the same feeling when I visit Tucson no matter where I am in the city or the surrounding area. It’s as if the history is ingrained in every part of every rock, every tree.
I also wanted to note that I did get two names associated with the house itself. One was Patricia and the other was Herman. I was told that there might be mail records with these names, so I am waiting to find out if I am correct. I will keep you posted.
David Seleme's Investigation:
Well our fearless team of ghost hunters visited the Tucson home, who reported that they had been having a series of unexplained phenomena which they attributed to ghosts of deceased family members. They contacted Grace via the website and the intrepid team was off on yet another wild ghost chase. This would be the first investigation featuring our newest member Akira.
Their home is lovely, nestled in the lower Sonoran desert on the outskirts of Tucson. Right away they made all of us feel at home, feeding us with delicious posole soup made of beef and hominy, seasoned with cilantro and hot peppers that grow wild in the desert around their home.
It was muy picante but sooo good!
It turns out that the family have deep roots in Arizona and in neighboring Sonora, and it was very informative and fun to hear them speak of their extended family's history, of which they are justifiably proud.
The main paranormal activity they experienced was centered around the guest room's bed. He reported being woken up on several nights with the feeling that someone was bumping their knees at the foot of the bed as he tried to sleep. He also reported that he could feel and hear the sound of someone scratching the sheets near his head.
The woman reported shadows and an incident in which a large spoon in a cooking pot of beans was hoisted out as if by unseen hands, spilling beans all over the kitchen floor. The homeowner's basically wanted the team to verify the happenings and to be assured that the supposed entities in the home were not malevolent.
My own investigation began by setting up a video camera with night vision on his bed, as well as scanning the are with an EMF reader. Several digital voice recorders were set up in the vicinity. our resident psychic John Carey meanwhile went outside to see if he could get any impressions.
I laid down on the bed and invited whoever was in the room to please bump the bed or scratch the sheets. I laid on the bed for nearly an hour but felt nothing. The video camera didn't catch anything of note either. I made a thorough sweep of The with EMF reader but didn't get any unusual spikes in The readings.
John reported that The spirits in The home were friendly deceased members of The family watching over The living members in The home. I am not psychic or sensitive so I have to rely on The evidence from video and EMF readings for validations that ghosts or other spirits are present.
While my cameras and instruments didn't catch anything out of The ordinary at The home it was still great fun and a pleasure to spend time with such nice people. The fact that The Family attribute The reported paranormal activities to benevolent family members who have passed on is testimony to their sense of community and The connectedness to The past that they feel.
Akira's Investigation:
Did not feel anything when I walked in. Was drawn to the backyard. Orbs did appear in the 250+ picture's taken. And on one of them I saw a face by one of the family members. Though I saw faces in other picture's upon examining them closer they did not reveal nothing.
Update:
One of Akira picture show a face near one of the family members. We all think it is a good capture.
